RFIC Engineer
We are looking for a Senior RFIC Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced K-band beamformer integrated circuits for satellite communication applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing highly integrated RF front-end solutions for next-generation electronically steerable antenna systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design K-band RFIC/MMIC beamformer architectures and circuits for Satcom applications
- Develop key RF building blocks including phase shifters, variable gain amplifiers, LNAs, PAs, switches, RF distribution networks, and control interfaces
- Perform RF, electromagnetic, noise, linearity, power, and system-level simulations
- Work closely with antenna, RF, digital, packaging, and system engineers to optimize overall terminal performance
- Lead or support IC layout, design reviews, tape-out, testing, characterization, and debugging
- Define IC specifications and translate system-level requirements into circuit-level designs
- Support packaging, antenna-in-package and RFIC integration activities
- Work with semiconductor foundries and external design/manufacturing partners
Profile
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field
- Strong industrial experience in RFIC/MMIC design.
- Proven experience designing RF or millimeter-wave ICs in CMOS, SOI, SiGe BiCMOS, or related technologies
- Experience with phased-array or beamformer ICs is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of RFIC design tools and open source toolchain.
- Experience taking ICs from concept through tape-out and laboratory characterization
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to take a role in the development of a core semiconductor technology for next-generation satellite communication systems, working at the intersection of RFIC design, phased arrays, advanced antennas and space connectivity.
