RFIC Engineer 

We are looking for a Senior RFIC Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced K-band beamformer integrated circuits for satellite communication applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing highly integrated RF front-end solutions for next-generation electronically steerable antenna systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design K-band RFIC/MMIC beamformer architectures and circuits for Satcom applications
  • Develop key RF building blocks including phase shifters, variable gain amplifiers, LNAs, PAs, switches, RF distribution networks, and control interfaces
  • Perform RF, electromagnetic, noise, linearity, power, and system-level simulations
  • Work closely with antenna, RF, digital, packaging, and system engineers to optimize overall terminal performance
  • Lead or support IC layout, design reviews, tape-out, testing, characterization, and debugging
  • Define IC specifications and translate system-level requirements into circuit-level designs
  • Support packaging, antenna-in-package and RFIC integration activities
  • Work with semiconductor foundries and external design/manufacturing partners

Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong industrial experience in RFIC/MMIC design.
  • Proven experience designing RF or millimeter-wave ICs in CMOS, SOI, SiGe BiCMOS, or related technologies
  • Experience with phased-array or beamformer ICs is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of RFIC design tools and open source toolchain. 
  • Experience taking ICs from concept through tape-out and laboratory characterization
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team
